| 2016-07-07 | Sell | 116000 | - | $17,000 OBO. Very clean 99% stock 93 Typhoon. Show car looks. This recent post divorce daily driver is going up for sale. Unfortunately it's not a practical daily driver and now that the garage is gone, I would like to have her find a happy home. Once back into a house with a garage, I would even offer to buy her back!! I love this truck and it gets tons of thumbs up and looks everywhere I go on a daily basis. This truck was under-coated when I got it and you can tell it's been garaged it's whole life. SUPER CLEAN AND RUST FREE. Only spot of rot I can see is on the inside very bottom of the drivers door which I have not addressed yet It does not show through at all and on the inside part. Dremel and some primer would fix this in no time. Also a small bubble under the paint on rear quarter the size of a BB. Improvements & repairs I have made since purchase for drivability, comfort and looks. Belltech 1.25 inch rear sway bar New Monroe shocks all around Turbo Tweak stock chip (makes cold starts not a problem) New Tires all around (on order) New Walbro fuel pump New inter-cooler pump hotwired to run all the time for less knock when dealing with sub standard premium gas. 160 degree T-stat for cooler engine new front hub & bearings Tranny Flush 500 miles ago Oil change every 2k or 2 months plugs /cap / wire / rotor every 4 months (these trucks eat through ignitions) New alternator Washed & waxed every other week. Parts of truck which need to be fixed / replaced / addressed in the future (not hiding anything from you!, this truck is awesome but it IS a 93 you know) back gate latch is hard to open (inside power release for window works just fine however) One little rust bubble just appeared behind driver door under paint about the size of a BB. The paint and body on this truck is AWESOME! Drivers door power window channel needs replacing, Driver door glass rattles a little when it's 1/2 to all the way down. Door gaskets needs replacing eventually. dried up a bit and road noise is noticeable when on highway. I'm the 3nd owner (I believe) and purchased it from a collector from Chickpea MA. His body shop and the insurance company totalled the car after a side swipe which took out all the VERY HARD TO FIND body cladding. He Purchased it from customer who did not want to pay to have it fixed out of pocket and fixed it up nice!! it's a fantastic truck. | |||||
