Nicknamed Baby Thunder, the truck is a combination of production GM parts, all wrapped up into one quick &#8217;94 S-10 shortbed. A 300-horse Corvette LT1 sits under the hood. fitted with a modified oil pan, Camaro exhaust manifolds and air-injection system, a big-block catalytic converter and dual, low-restriction mufflers. A 4L60-E automatic backs up the small-block, modified with a 2400-rpm, stall-speed torque converter and 6000rpm, wide-open throttle shift points. An Astro van all-wheel-drive, viscous transfer case splits power front to rear to an S-10 4&#215;4 front axle and standard 3.42 rearend. A &#8217;92 Camaro Z\/28 steering box is utilized. The rear suspension was lowered slightly and the truck fitted with &#8217;93 Corvette wheels shod with Goodyear GSC tires.
